April is here and it’s not just the chance to see the beautiful cherry blossoms that delight the hearts of fans, but also the amazing and interesting news about your favorite idols and actors.

The month of April is clearly off to a good start for many stars, as some have made announcements of drama, comebacks, an idol topping the Billboard charts, dating news about two actors that perhaps no one saw coming, the military enlistment of a beloved idol and actor and teasers and trailers of upcoming dramas. As we said, the first week of April was so fast-paced and full of exciting news and developments. Some of which, you may have missed.

1. BTOB will make a comeback in May

Earlier this week, CUBE Entertainment confirmed that the idol group will be making a comeback in May with a new song, and also shared that they also filmed the music video.

2. BTS’s JiMin becomes the first South Korean solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

It is another victory and record for BTS and ARMYs like JiMin debut at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with their hit ‘Like Crazy’.

3. BTS’s Suga Set to Release Solo Album “D-DAY” and Shares Pre-Release Track

More great news from BTS as Suga is gearing up for the release of his solo album “D-Day” which is set to drop on April 21st. But first, he’s treating fans to a pre-release track titled ‘Pt people‘ featuring IU which will be released on April 7th.

4. MONSTA X’s MinHyuk Enlists in the Army

It’s sad news for MONBEBEs as their beloved idol enlisted in the military this week. With a series of cute updates on social media, fans were able to keep up with their activities before enlisting. 5. SHINee’s Taemin is discharged from the military

When a beloved idol enlists in the army, another leaves. It’s been a countdown to TaeMin’s official discharge date from the military as fans have eagerly awaited his return. The famous group is set to make a comeback on April 24th with their 10th mini album titled “FML”, which also features a double title track.

8. WOODZ will return with their 5th mini-album

The famous singer also shared a comeback announcement this week, revealing the poster of his upcoming alum, “OO-LI“. The album will be released on April 26th.

9. NMIXX’s SullYoon joins NCT’s JungWoo and Stray Kids’ Lee Know as the MC for “Music Core”

The music program revealed that the idol will be joining as an MC alongside JungWoo and Lee Know. Its first episode airs on April 15th.
