The highly popular youth drama “Dream High” is getting a stage musical adaptation, and some of our favorite idols and actors have been cast in lead roles. You may remember “Dream High” as the high school K-Drama starring Suzy, Kim SooHyun, IU, 2PM’s TaecYeon, WooYoung and Ham Eun Jung. The musical will tell the story of our protagonists ten years after graduation, arousing the interest of fans around the world.

For starters, the lead role of Song SamDong, which was originally played by Kim SooHyun in the drama, will be played by MoonSeok he, WINNER’s Hoony and SF9’s Yoo Taeyang. Both Hoony and TaeYang are known as two of the best dancers in the K-Pop industry, so fans are looking forward to seeing a new kind of performance from them in “Dream High”. On the other hand, ASTRO’s leader JinJin alongside Teen Top’s Niel and GREE will play the role of Jason in the musical, which was the character played by WooYoung. Notably, this will be Hoony and JinJin’s musical acting debut, and expectations are high for their appearance.
