It is not uncommon for K-Pop idols to continue acting at the top of their singing career. We have seen the birth of several acting idols who have taken the K-Drama world by storm. That includes ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, SF9’s RoWoonIt is Girls’ Generation’s YoonA just to name a few. They have appeared in several hit series and have won accolades for their impressive acting skills.
An idol who has been gaining attention for his recent ventures into the acting world is Cherry Bullet’s ChaeRin. At the moment, ChaeRin is doing a lot, like cherry candy recently made a group comeback with their third mini-album, “Cherry Dash”. In addition to her group activities, the idol is also appearing in tvN’s mystery thriller.”Pandora: Under Heaven“.
She is quickly gaining recognition for her acting skills, as she has also appeared in “Under the Queen’s Umbrella” as 20-year-old Im HwaRyeong. Now, ChaeRin is making headlines for her performance as the young Hong TaeRa, a trained assassin and extraordinary fighter. Through her role, the idol was able to show a whole spectrum of emotions while also performs extensive action scenes.
While she starts off as an ordinary girl, she quickly transforms to take care of her family. This change of behavior from innocent child to tough warrior is not an easy task. ChaeRin gets everything right, from her facial expression to her gestures. Her appearances in the drama may be short, but she has already shown her potential as an actress and fans are eager to witness her growth.
