
“Declaration of Emergency” Posters
Despite being released last year on the big screen, “Emergency Declaration”, a Korean film that premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, is receiving attention after its release on Netflix this past March 31st. The film stars big names in the industry: kangho songLee ByungHun, Jeon DoYeon, Kim NamGil, Yim SiWan, Kim So Jin It is Hae-jun Park.
“Declaration of Emergency” is a disaster movie that revolves around an unprecedented terror inside an aircraft – a deadly virus inside the plane, causing the death of an otherwise healthy passenger. With the situation, an emergency landing was declared by the pilot in an attempt to save his passengers. The South Korean government finds itself in a dilemma where it must decide whether to save the people on board the plane or the greatest number of people in South Korea.

“Declaration of Emergency” is available to viewers worldwide on Netlfix (Note: the movie is not yet available for several countries). Based on FlixPatrol data, the movie is the 6th most popular movie on Netflix as of April 6th.
