K-Pop idols make a statement on and off stage. They mesmerize with their synchronized dance moves, seductive vocals and stunning visuals. You also can’t ignore their coordinated outfits that take them to another level. While there are certain clothes or fashion choices that not all idols can pull off with ease. This includes short tops for male idols.
Crop tops are a fashion item usually associated with girl groups. But when a male idol wears one, there’s a certain wow factor and charm that draws him in, making it hard to take his eyes off the screen. And some idols rock the crop top look, becoming an automatic hit with fans and non-fans alike.
So, here is a list of some K-Pop male idols who are kings of the tops.
VOGUE
Yoo TaeYang is an amazing dancer and vocalist, but we think he should consider adding the title of king of short tops to his repertoire. The idol looks completely dashing in the daring fashion choice. With those chiseled abs and fiery looks, you can almost feel your heart about to leap out of your chest.

ACE’s Kim ByeongKwan is currently fulfilling his military duties. But luckily for fans and crop top enthusiasts, he left behind some of those hot pics to see in the meantime. ByeongKwan in a short top is iconic and automatically weakens the knees. With his discharge on the imminent horizon, fans can only hope that they get the chance to see top ByeongKwan once again.

Kai is an international superstar with a whole host of accomplishments under his belt. In addition to being an amazing artist, he’s a fashion icon known for looking good in everything – including crop tops. With those toned abs, it makes perfect sense that he would want to show off his stunning baby bump. We are definitely fans of Kai top and we love to see the idol in that outfit.

This YeonJun outfit is old but still very good. YeonJun is hailed as one of the most stylish idols of the fourth generation. Early in his career, he went through a cropped phase and donned the fashion statement with confidence. This earned him fans from all over the world. Though he hasn’t worn one lately, MOA still fondly remembers the top YeonJun wore and can’t wait until he brings it back.

ATEEZ is a high-performance group that always sets the stage on fire. But with a short top and a piercing gaze, ATEEZ’s San is able to ignite anyone’s heart with burning admiration. Fortunately, this wasn’t a one-off, as there were far more opportunities for fans to witness top San. We definitely need a 2023 version of San in short tops and we hope the idol makes that happen soon.

Aussie, vocalist, leader, top crop king. Bang Chan is a holder of many titles, brimming with talent that has conquered the entire world. There were many moments where he injured STAY with his belly exposed. His exposed physique makes fans giddy with excitement and eager to support the artist in his endeavours. I hope those efforts include wearing a short top once again!

Although WonHo is currently completing his mandatory military service, there are many photos of the idol that fans can look back on. This includes numerous photos of crop tops. WonHo has been wearing the fashion item since before 2018 and has looked back ever since. He knows he can pull it off with ease. And it’s with that confidence that WonHo is able to make this outfit a success.
