Social media algorithms have gotten extremely smart over the years. So as K-Pop fans, the suggested posts, reels, TikToks and etc. that we see while scrolling are more than likely content from various idol groups and their members. And you can’t scroll through social media sites without seeing a clip or two of P1Harmony’s KeeHo.
O P1Harmony leader is pure comic gold, providing plenty of laughs for fans and non-fans alike. He is a rising icon of the MZ generation, known for his witty banter and vibrant personality. He could very well become the next variety star. But we can’t forget his original profession: because first and foremost, KeeHo is a K-Pop idol. As funny as he is, his vocals are absolutely amazing, deserving of all the love and praise.
So, while laughing at KeeHo’s hilarious clips, check out these performances that showcase the idol’s stunning vocals.
1. Medley of hit songs by girl groups
It’s always a special pleasure when male idols cover female idols’ songs and vice versa! KeeHo certainly didn’t disappoint and added his own special talent to the chart-topping songs. He doesn’t choreograph any of the tracks, but his seductive vocals and piercing gaze are more than enough to make things memorable. We’d love to see KeeHo cover more girl group songs in the future!
2. Adele – cover of ‘When We Were Young’
Adele is well known for her harrowing tracks, imbuing each note with a hint of sadness you can’t shake. This makes each Adele song a challenge in itself, but KeeHo shows that she is confident in her singing ability – and that confidence is well deserved. As short as this clip may be, it highlights her impressive vocal range and ability to bring out deep emotions, just like Adele. Oh what a chill we felt listening to this cover!
3. (G)I-DLE – Cover ‘Tomboy’
If the portion he covered for 1theK was just the appetizer, then this is the unbelievably delicious main course. He rocks from beginning to end, sounding like a rock band vocalist. That haughty and passionate rock spirit is absolutely present in their gestures and carefree attitude. What’s more, the P1Harmony frontman gave fans a glimpse of his impressive rapping skills. Seriously, what can’t an idol do?
4. CNBLUE – ‘Then, Now and Forever’ Cover
KeeHo is great alone, but he shines even more with his members by his side. They do this song justice and deliver a mesmerizing performance for all to enjoy. Between KeeHo’s parts, he treats us to his usual mellow vocals, along with a refreshing high note and falsetto. This cover may be short, but you’ll find yourself hitting the repeat button over and over again.
5. John Legend – cover of ‘All Of Me’
John Legend is, well, a legend. Not only does he have a stellar voice, but he carries a soul that isn’t easy to replicate. However, KeeHo definitely deserves some praise for his rendition of the iconic track. His singing is soulful and heartfelt, leaving everyone in awe, even his groupmates. If you look up the definition of a vocalist, KeeHo’s face will certainly be there as an example!
