Seo MoonJo is not a classic psychopath, and Lee DongWook does a wonderful job of making sure we know that. He is extremely cunning, manipulative, and downright insane. He is also physically strong, but arguably not an unstoppable fighter, but he makes up for it with his eyesight. Fans also theorize that Seo MoonJo wasn’t born a psychopath, but this villainous identity was created by her abusive mother. So, even though he is far from human, he is influenced by his emotions, which is a considerable weakness. However, at the end of “Strangers From Hell”, it’s quite ambiguous whether Seo MoonJo was actually killed, and many fans believe he’s still very much alive, meaning he’s a much bigger mastermind than we thought. In a confrontation with other villains, he can fake his death and come out alive.

2. Mo TaeGoo played by Kim JaeUck – “Voice”

Often considered the scariest villain in K-Drama history, Mo TaeGoo is a menace and Kim JaeUck truly set the bar for psychopaths in K-Dramas. Mo TaeGoo can send shivers down your spine with just his creepy smile and troubled eyes. His bloodlust is insatiable and he derives sadistic pleasure from his crimes. He too was born a normal child, but certain traumas involving his mother’s death turned him into a monster. TaeGoo is deceitful, authoritative, indignant and cunning, but also charismatic. He prides himself on his high intelligence, but has a deep need for validation, which can be a major weakness when confronted with other psychopaths. In a hypothetical showdown, Mo TaeGoo might be too busy bragging about his criminal spoils, which would likely piss off a few others on this list and get him killed.

A fan-favorite K-Drama psychopath, Jang HanSeok is iconic, to say the least. The way he went from sweet and wholesome Jang JunWoo to crazy power-hungry Jang HanSeok has to be one of the most memorable transformations of all time thanks to Ok TaecYeon’s outstanding performance. Now, Jang HanSeok has no morality, which means he has no qualms about going as far as necessary to achieve his goals. In fact, he’s pure evil and could very well blow up the world if it meant he could rule it. However, he’s hot-headed, impulsive, overconfident, and has little to no foresight, so we’re not sure how long he’d last in a K-Drama villain showdown.

Finally, the villain to end all villains – Jeong BaReum entered the chat. The most evil, complex, cold, unpredictable and pitiful villain at the same time, Jeong BaReum takes us on a roller coaster of emotions as we try to figure out where we are. No one but Lee SeungGi could have brought such a multifaceted character to life. Now, in BaReum’s case, he was indeed “born” a psychopath, but it could be said that it was his lack of education that brought out the immorality in him. Jeong BaReum is beyond smart – he’s always ten steps ahead, and usually things go according to his elaborate and perfect plans. While this might ideally suggest that Jeong BaReum would win in a hypothetical psychopath showdown, we also have to remember that he seeks redemption at the end of the series, which isn’t really a strength when you’re fighting other psychopaths.

Which of these K-Drama psychopaths would win in a showdown?
