In its debut year, NMIXX were recognized for their unique yet catchy sound and breathtaking visuals. Girl group JYP has received a lot of love and support from fans all over the world. Now, they move on and have just returned with their 1st EP “Expergo”. The EP consists of 6 tracks, ‘Young, Dumb, Stupid’, ‘Love Me Like This’, ‘PAXXWORD’, ‘Just Did It’, ‘My Gosh’ and ‘HOME’.
Along with their EP, NMIXX also released the music video for their title track ‘Love Me Like This’. Not only is the song on constant repeat, but the music video will put you under a similar spell! If the replay button on YouTube could break, we’re pretty sure it would have needed to be fixed several hours ago.

1. References to “The Wizard of Oz”
It’s always fun to have references to recognizable pop culture. The references to “The Wizard of Oz” are a nice touch and match the constant whimsy that is present throughout the music video. If Dorothy had the yellow brick road, NMIXX has ‘Love Me Like This’ to travel along as they sing about romance.
2. NMIXX In Crowns
The rap part in the middle of ‘Love Me Like This’ starts with its cool choreography. Then the scene quickly shifts to the girls with crowns on their heads. With their facial expressions, they convey the feeling of carefree queens who know their worth from head to toe. While they aren’t portrayed as royalty in the music video, they certainly give off a luxurious vibe.

As the music video draws to a close, fans are treated to a scene of multiple copies of NMIXX members dancing along to the addictive track. It carries the playful, fantastical vibe that’s been there since the beginning. The scene makes you want to slow down the video to take in everything going on. The scene is simple yet visually striking and leaves a huge impression on fans everywhere!
